Another Nerd Fitness post today. This time, about the trials and tribulations of healthy eating. As a lifelong cheese and crisp eater, I know for definite the issues with trying to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The toss up between a filling & satisfying rice dish in comparison to a health grilled chicken salad is great, and it is important to remember the benefits of what you are doing.
Tricks such as using smaller plates, actively eating and placing tactical notes and equipment around the house are great. I also enjoy placing a photo (a bad one, at your very worst) on the fridge. Every time you open the door you will see what you are pulling away from, giving you the extra pause to determine whether you do want to open the door.
