Game of Thrones Workout

It is no secret that I am a geek. I love US TV, nothing more than Game of Thrones. Having read all of the books, the events of last week’s episode was no surprise to me. However, as we approach the last episode (in the UK, it is tonight), I thought it may be fun to share what I found online to spice up the viewing pleasure.

The Under 20 Blog has a “Tone while you Throne” page. As good as the exercises are, they do not really relate to Game of Thrones.

Anytime Health have taken it a little further with their GOT workout. There are a few bits which viewers may need to change (no spoilers here….) but that is simple enough!

The Kingslayer Workout

Combining standard mountain biking with eight reps each of:

  • Hand walkouts
  • Dead-lift movement reaching left hand to right foot and alternating, performed with legs in a fixed, slightly flexed position
  • Spider-Man push-ups
  • Split-stance jumps, switching legs mid-jump
  • Warrior reverse lunges
  • Shoulder push-ups or handstand push-ups
  • Jumping jacks
  • Burpees
